Description
The solar protection film EXT 600 was designed in order to significantly reduce heat and glare from the sun once applied on windows. Unlike conventional glare-reducing materials, EXT 600 has non-reflective form, which returns solar rays through panes rather than absorbing them.

Unlike conventional glare-reducing materials, EXT 600 has non-reflective form, which returns solar rays through panes rather than absorbing them. Moreover, it is an extremely efficient product used to minimize heat, while maintaining glass transparency as well as its visual aspects.
It highly improves comfort in rooms invaded by the sun is spectacular.
It should be noted that radiation can be transmitted in two ways. Therefore, the transmission factor T comprises of:
A direct transmission (DT),for which radiation is not affected by the material
A diffused transmission (Tdif),which corresponds to the diffusion of radiation in all directions by the material
The sum of the parts transmitted directly as well as the parts transmitted in a defused manner, are equal to the total transmission: DT + Tdif = T
The reflection and absorption factors may also depend on product faces.
Solar Control
To avoid overheating:
- ensure air circulation,
- use films with a limited energy transmission, called “Anti-Heat Films”, which allow only a certain fraction of the solar energy to pass through, enabling the light to be conserved by minimizing overheating,
- save energy related to the use of air conditioners,
- gain up to 10 °C temperature,
- improve comfort,
- reduce glare.

Solar Factor
Solar factor (G) of a window is a ratio between the total energy entering a room through the window and the incident solar radiation. This total energy is the sum of the solar energy entering by direct transmission, and the energy yielded by the glazing to the interior atmosphere, following its heating by energy absorption.
Greenhouse Effect
Solar energy entering a room through a glazing is absorbed by objects and internal walls which when heated re-emit thermal radiation located mainly in the far infrared (greater than 5 μm). Glazing, even light, is practically opaque to radiations of wavelengths greater than 5μm. The solar energy entering through the windows is therefore trapped in the room which tends to heat up. It is the “greenhouse effect” that can be seen for example when a car is parked in direct sunlight with closed windows.

Film usage
Réflectiv window films are designed for use on any type of clear normal glass
Maintenance after 30 days
with usual cleaning solutions (non-abrasive, without ammonia…). Cleaning products that may scratch the film should be avoided.
Storage 2 years
from delivery. This film should be kept away from excessive humidity and sun rays, at temperatures below 38°C.
